You're probably interested in searching for a job in Qatar if you're looking at this section. I'll do my best to populate it with as much information and links as possible. Remember that if there is something you want to ask, please send an email! If you do use an agency, be sure to let them know you were recommended by :)

We've compiled a list of important information to consider. Please see the "Moving to Qatar" section for additional information.

What should I ask my employer for?

It depends what your job is. If you think you are able to ask for some benefits, then ASK. You should try to get: accommodation (or at least a separate living expense), medical insurance, and educational fees.

What will my employer give me?

Again, it depends where you will be working, however accommodation expenses, educational expenses, and food allowances can be given in addition to your salary. Some businesses will give you free accommodation.

Can I ask for more?

My father always taught me that "a person who is deserving, will get what he deserves; a person who is greedy, gets nothing". I always remember that. So don't feel shy to ask your employer for more. Explain why you are asking for it. Keep an amount of what you are happy with in your mind first! THEN try to get a bit more.
