Have you ever received a traffic violation before? Did you know that you can request to object to in Qatar? According to the Ministry of Interior (MOI), individuals and companies can submit a request online to object to traffic violations registered on vehicles through the Ministry of Interior (MOI) website or the Metrash2 App. Here's a step-wise process on how to do it.

Click on the "Traffic" option.

Next, click on "Violation Service".

The next step is to click on "Violation Objection".

Go through the "Remarks" and click "Next".

The next step is to fill in the details like plate number and then click on "Next".
Check all the violation details in the “Violations List”.
To object to a specific violation, select it and click on “Next”.
Please note that in case you are not allowed to object to a violation, you cannot choose it and you can review the reason in the “Violation Status” field.
Type out the reason of objection in the “Reason of Objection” textbox in the “Register a Violation” and then click on “Submit”.

What is the additional information to note?

Violations objection is only for violations registered in the last two weeks.
Objection for a vehicle is only allowed once.
Objection is not for radar related violations.
The response from the Ministry will come within 15 days. You can check back at the same service to know the Ministry's decision.
The objection is only allowed for unpaid violations.
You can also use this service through the MOI e-service portal.
