Ministry announces arrest of 14 people for violating home quarantine conditions

The Ministry of Public Health announced that the competent authorities arrested 14 people who violated the requirements of home quarantine in accordance with the pledge through which they committed themselves to implement the specific requirements from health authorities, which they are legally accountable for, in accordance with the procedures of the health authorities in the country.

The ministry confirmed in a statement, that the arrest of these persons comes in implementation of the precautionary measures in force in the country and approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health and its supporters to ensure the achievement of public safety, in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The Ministry of Public Health stated that the violating persons are being referred to the competent prosecution, and they are:

1- Abdullah Jaber Abdullah Jaber Nashira / Qatari

2- Mutaib Salem Mutaib Al-Hanitim Al-Marri / Qatari

3- Abdullah Ali Khalifa Salloum Al-Kubaisi / Qatari

4- Meshal Hamad Abdullah Al-Hamad Al-Mannai / Qatari

5- Jaber Ali Al-Mi'i Ali Jahman / Qatari

6- Talib Jaber Masoud Al-Aweer Al-Marri / Qatari

7- Abdullah Muhammad Ali Abdulreda Ismail / Qatari

8- Fahd Abdel-Moneim Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Owainati / Qatari

9- Mohammed Rashid Jaber Al-Khayareen / Qatari

10- Khaled Rashid Jaber Al-Khayareen / Qatari

11- Sarhan Nasser Sarhan Salem Barghash / Qatari

12- Nader Mohammed Mubarak Salem Al-Juhani / Qatari

13- Faisal Masoud Jaber Al-Marri / Qatari

14- Muhammad Ali Mohsen Abdullah Mulheyah / Qatari.

And the concerned authorities in the country called on citizens and residents in the home quarantine, to the necessity of strict adherence to the conditions specified by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

The statement of the Ministry of Health confirmed that everyone who violates these conditions will expose himself to the penalties stipulated in accordance with the provisions of Article (253) of the Penal Code No. (11) of 2004, and the provisions of Law No. (17) of 1990 regarding prevention of infectious diseases, and Law No. (17) For the year 2002 on protecting society.
