Rapid Antigen Tests require a simple nasal swab and the results are usually available within 15 minutes. Please check with your local private healthcare provider to make an appointment to take a test if you need one.

According to an external circular from the Ministry of Public Health, the price of the Rapid test should not exceed 50 Qatari Riyals.
During the last Cabinet meeting regarding Phase 2 of the gradual lifting of restrictions, it was announced that all employees of the government and private sectors must undergo a rapid antigen test accredited by the Ministry of Public Health on a weekly basis if not yet received or completed the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who completed the doses of the vaccine (Covid-19), recovered from the disease, or those whose health condition does not allow based on a medical report accredited by the MoPH, are exempt from the rapid antigen test.
The Ministry of Public Health has updated its COVID-19 testing protocol and approved antigen test along with antibody test to be performed in the private healthcare sector on 29 May 2021.
