How much is the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test in Qatar?

According to an external circular from the Ministry of Public Health, the price of the Rapid test should not exceed 50 Qatari Riyals.

Phase 2 of gradual lifting of restrictions in Qatar

During the last Cabinet meeting regarding Phase 2 of the gradual lifting of restrictions, it was announced that all employees of the government and private sectors must undergo a rapid antigen test accredited by the Ministry of Public Health on a weekly basis if not yet received or completed the COVID-19 vaccine.

Exemptions

Those who completed the doses of the vaccine (Covid-19), recovered from the disease, or those whose health condition does not allow based on a medical report accredited by the MoPH, are exempt from the rapid antigen test.

The Ministry of Public Health has updated its COVID-19 testing protocol and approved antigen test along with antibody test to be performed in the private healthcare sector on 29 May 2021.
