In a post in its Facebook account, Al Rawnaq Trading Complex has announced the preventive closure of its stores from Tuesday, April 21, 2020, until further notice.
The statement reads:
"In the context of the preventive measures and precautionary measures taken by the State of Qatar to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in the interest of the safety of our customers (citizens, residents) and our employees, we have decided to close all branches of the Al Rawnaq Trading Complex from Tuesday, April 21, 2020, until further notice. This is because we felt the extreme crowding resulting from the limited time specified for the hours worked for the shops.
This decision was taken despite the material losses that we will be exposed to, especially in this season, but the public interest of our dear country is most important to us and we love our hearts from our own interest with our prayers and wishes for all health and wellness."
