In a post, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has said that "in the interest of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for the well-being of our students and their academic future, it has been decided to adopt physical attendance at school for all students, starting from Sunday, January 30, 2022."

As per the Ministry, the following have been decided:

• Adopting physical attendance at school for students in all public and private schools and kindergartens at 100% of their capacity, starting from Sunday, January 30, 2022.
• All students of public and private schools and kindergartens at all academic levels must take a rapid antigen test weekly at home in order to allow them to enter the school building, provided that the test is carried out within a maximum of 48 hours before returning to school.
• Rapid antigen testing devices will be provided to public school students only through their affiliated schools, and parents can arrange with the school to receive them starting on Thursday, January 27, 2022 during official working hours.

As per MOEHE, the health teams of the Ministry of Public Health will also conduct random checks in schools to ensure that the educational process is carried out in a safe and healthy environment.

We posted news about The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announcing 100% attendance in all schools and kindergartens based on their website. This news has been taken down by the Ministry.

We were informed that there will be changes/additions to the final decision. We will update this space as soon as there is an official announcement.
