Have you heard of the term "Wasta"? Simply put, it's personal connections or who you know. The use of these contacts or relationships happens around the world but in Qatar and other Arab countries, it's referred to as wasta.

Many people use wasta to get something simple such as faster access to services, get a job, or enter a certain place. But unfortunately, it can be abused which leads to wasta having a negative connotation.

So remember, "With Great Wasta, Comes Great Responsibility!"
