If you’ve got the kicks and quite a few tricks, then you’ll want to dust off your boots for this one. The spectacular Neymar Jr’s Five is back in Qatar for an exciting qualifiers stage. Starting March 9, the five-a-side tournament will kick off it’s qualifying rounds that will lead up to the national final on March 30. Anyone can get in on the action. Assemble your side of five players and register your team if you think you’ve got what it takes to outplay them all!

Here’s a quick breakdown of the rules:

In teams of five, you’ll be taking on your opponents with one objective in mind; outplay them all! Every time your team scores a goal, the opposition will lose a player. But don’t forget, you’ll also want to keep up the defence and protect your own net to avoid losing team mates. Team work will make that dream work as the last team standing after 10 minutes will win.

Qualifiers will be held throughout the dates below:

March 09 & 10 at Qatar Sports Club,

March 16 & 17 at Al Sadd Sports Club

March 23 & 24 at Qatar Foundation

March 30 – National Final

The team to make it through to the national finals will be moving on to play at the world finals in Brazil on July 21. The finale will be hosted by the prodigy himself; Neymar Jr at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr.

“What makes me really excited is that each edition brings more players from more countries so I’m glad to know that everyone wants to participate, and I feel happy to be part of it, this is what excites me the most,” says Neymar Jr.

With more than 60 countries participating in this year’s edition, the tournament has become a global sensation for football fans all around the world.
