The Ministry of Interior (MOI) clarifies the details of the regulations to be implemented at the A-Ring and B-Ring roads during the World Cup. These regulations are to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the tournament.

A-Ring Road has a dedicated lane for buses, taxis, and authorised vehicles. No other vehicles can use this lane throughout the day during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Vehicles allowed on A-Ring and B-Ring road

Vehicles allowed on A–Ring and B- Ring Roads and roads and intersections leading to them during the World Cup:

  • Vehicles with private transport plates
  • Buses with 15-seater or less
  • Refrigerated transport vehicles
  • Light vehicles with black transport plates registered personally.

Vehicles NOT allowed on A-Ring and B-Ring road

Vehicles not allowed on A–Ring and B- Ring Roads and roads and intersections leading to them during the World Cup:

  • All kinds of trucks
  • All kinds of pickups (except refrigerated transport vehicles)
  • Buses (more than 15-seater)
  • Vehicles with black transport plates registered in the name of a private company.
