A report by The Peninsula said that Saleh Al-Nisf, Senior Manager of Arrivals and Departures at Airports, in an interview on the Al-Majlis program, Al Kass Channel said that the Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport in Qatar will receive approximately 5,700 passengers per hour during and before the World Cup in 2022.

The senior manager also confirmed that Hamad International Airport will receive 3,700 passengers per hour in terms of arrival. Transportation options like buses, metro, and taxis are available for passengers once they arrive.

With respect to Doha International Airport, he said that it is expected to receive 2,000 passengers per hour. Apart from shuttle buses to the nearest metro station, arriving passengers will have bus and taxi services. A pedestrian path is also available for travellers from the airport to the nearest metro station.
