The Supreme Committee on Delivery & Legacy has announced on their official Twitter account that the 'Host Family & Friends' service on the Hayya platform and mobile application will close on 1 November 2022. From 1 November 2022, this accommodation option will no longer be available to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ ticket holders.

According to the announcement, this is due to the processing time required to ensure every ticket holder receives security clearance ahead of 1 November 2022 - when the Hayya Card will serve as the only means of entry to the State of Qatar for visitors.

Fans can continue to apply for the Family & Friends service until 1 November 2022. After this date, fans will need to book accommodation via the Qatar Accommodation Agency or third-party platforms.
