The second Qatar International Businesswomen Forum will be held on May 17 and 18 at the Ritz Carlton-Doha, the forum has said.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has received a message from HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, dealing with bilateral ties, as well as the latest developments in the region. The message was conveyed by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, during a meeting with President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus yesterday. The meeting was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Mouallem.
