The Qatar - India Air Bubble Arrangement has been extended until 31 January 2021. This relaxation will also allow Indians stranded in South America and Africa to use the Air Bubble arrangement between India and Qatar so they can transit through Doha. The Qatar - India Air Bubble facility is also available to the citizens of Bhutan and Nepal, according to a tweet by the Indian Embassy in Doha.

Right now, there is limited and restricted access to international flights into Indian airports, an only Air Bubble flights are allowed from certain countries with which an agreement has already been made. The Qatar - India Bubble Arrangement will allow Qatar Airways and Indian Airlines to fly out of Doha to different cities in India to facilitate people stuck outside of India, according to the Qatar Peninsula.
