The Ajyal Film Festival returns through a hybrid edition with a variety of events taking place both online, and physically under the highest precautionary safety measures. The signature events are all back with an incredible selection of world cinema, the acclaimed Made in Qatar programme, the Ajyal Creativity Hub featuring Geekdom, Ajyal Tunes and the Ajyal Talks series. There’s also an exciting new Ajyal Drive-in Cinema in Lusail and this year’s intriguing multimedia exhibition is entitled ‘Outbreak’.

Torba operates a seasonal farmers market in Ceremonial Court at Education City. The Torba Farmers Market is a mainstay in the event calendar, attracting thousands of visitors each weekend. The market runs from November to March each year and features local fresh produce, artisan products and gourmet handmade food. It’s a great place for coffee and breakfast, as well as a spot of shopping.
The exhibition is part of Qatar National Tourism Council’s efforts to support domestic tourism and diversify local events. HEYA will take place under the umbrella of QNTC, and will be organised by Qatar Business Events Corporation (QBEC), a subsidiary of QNTC which now oversees all operations at DECC. QNTC’s Qatar Clean programme for hygiene and cleanliness will be implemented along with DECC’s precautionary and safety measures. These follow best practices in business events both locally and globally, assuring a safe experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
A first-of-its-kind festival experience in Qatar straight out of the 1950s, guests can drive to, park up, and watch the movie in an outdoor venue with a large screen. Open to all residents and citizens of Qatar, the festival will provide a safe cinematic experience as all precautionary health and safety including social distancing measures will be adhered to. Each day will host three screenings. The tickets will be free-of-cost and on a first come first serve basis and guests can buy their tickets online booking tool.
Enclosed Realities showcases the artist’s exploration of our perception of reality and its limitations using abstract colours. As a choreographer, Puppin frames the action of colour in a very unique and unexpected way, amplifying or shrinking different aspects of the painting, investigating perception and reality.
Katara will hold "The Republic Of Color" exhibition in cooperation with the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Qatar.
Fashion Trust Arabia is an annual non-profit organization that aims to provide financial support and business support as well as international recognition to the dynamic fashion designers in the MENA region. Fashion Trust Arabia launched in September 2018 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser as Honorary Chair and co-Chairs H.E. Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares (Founder of Fashion Trust). FTA is the only initiative of its kind operating in the Arab world, dedicated to finding and nurturing talented designers.

A part of the series "Focus: Works from Mathaf Collection", this exhibition showcases works of artists, intellectuals, journalists, and cultural activists who played a major role in the city's cultural scene for more than half a century. It documents the experiences and knowledge of those generations as well as highlights the work of key artists of the past and present, with paintings, photography, video, and installations.
Glimpse of Nature, organised and curated by Saida Ali Al-Khulaifi, Amal Zeyad Ali and Maha AlSubaey, explores nature as both a vessel and medium for creativity through a diverse range of practices and processes presented by current and past members of the Fire Station: Artist in Residence Programme.

In collaboration with Doha Film Institute, Msheireb Properties proudly present this year’s thought-provoking multimedia exhibition, featuring the work of 24 local artists and centering around the theme of ‘Outbreak’. Join them at Sikkat Wadi Msheireb from Thursday 19th of November until 10th of December 2020, from 10 AM till 10 PM and on Friday from 2 PM till 10 PM.

The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) will reopen its permanent galleries and unveil the landmark exhibition, Splendours of the Ancient East: Antiquities from The al-Sabah Collection, in its Temporary Exhibition Gallery. Drawn from the extraordinary holdings assembled in Kuwait by Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah and Sheikha Hussa Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, more than 170 objects provide a sweeping overview of the artistic and material culture of the ancient world, while also revealing new insights into the roots of Islamic art.

The Museum of Islamic Arts has opened an exhibition entitled "A Falcon's Eye: Tribute To Sheikh Saoud Al-Thani". The exhibition showcases more than 300 outstanding artworks from prehistoric fossils and Egyptian antiquities to Orientalist paintings and masterpieces of the history of photography in a spectacular display following the concept of ancient (Renaissance) “cabinet of curiosities” reflecting Sheikh Saoud’s fascination with both natural history and the art world.
