Qatar is getting set to welcome the world’s finest athletes this September, hosting the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019. The ten-day sporting spectacular will see 2,000 athletes arrive at the Khalifa International Stadium to compete for gold, whilst the world’s first-ever Midnight Marathon will take place along the Corniche, set against the lights of the mesmerising Doha skyline.
Spectators will enjoy a whole host of entertainment on a daily basis between Friday 27 September- Sunday 6 October, with a Global Athletics Village bringing worldwide cultures to life through entertainment and cuisine, as athletes from 213 different countries will take part in the competition.

The second edition of Qatar’s most important event dedicated to the construction industry is ready to open its doors tomorrow at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Backed by its Strategic Partner, the Qatar National Tourism Council, The Big 5 Construct Qatar will officially open at 11 am and will showcase the latest construction solutions and services until 25th September 2019.

The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) is hosting two art exhibitions as part of the Qatar-India 2019 Year of Culture. The first expo is the Fine Art Exhibition by the Qatari artists Mohammad Junaid, and Aisha Al Muhannadi and the Indian artist Mahesh Kumar, and the second is for the photography exhibition by a group of Qatari and Indian photographers, in cooperation with the Youth Hobbies Center.
