Doha Women Forum 2019 is a platform where women can learn from experts, get inspired by the experiences of other women, share ideas and network. This year forum has been modelled on the International Women’s Day theme ‘Balance for Better’, a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world. Gender balance is not just an issue for women, but it is essential for communities and economies to thrive.
Gender parity is required in the boardroom, government, media, sports and every aspect of modern life. Collective action and shared responsibility is key towards driving a gender-balanced world. Doha Women Forum 2019 is designed to motivate women and men to take action and drive towards a more gender-balanced community and world at large. The speakers this year are well-known members of the community who are actively involved in women’s empowerment. The event will consist of inspiring talks, group discussions and workshops, as well as an interactive session to facilitate networking.
