Qatar had five substitutions in total and the score remained at 1-5 in favour of Ghana at the end of the well-fought out match.
The game against Ghana was part of Qatar's preparation program for the double Asian qualifiers for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in China and the 2022 World Cup.
The friendly game is the first in 2020 after a long hiatus due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which resulted in the postponement of official events in the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, in addition to the inability to hold friendly matches since March due to travel restrictions.
