Vehicle caught transporting radioactive materials in undesignated public places

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has announced in a tweet that the ministry has monitored the presence of a vehicle transporting radioactive sources in undesignated public places. The ministry has taken necessary measures to withdraw the license in accordance with the Radiation Protection Law No. 31 of 2002

In strengthening the control over radioactive activities, the Department of Radiation and Chemicals Protection warns the owners of companies to abide by the non-existence of vehicles transporting radioactive sources in public places that are not designated for them, in order to avoid legal accountability.
