Doha,April,05:The Torch Doha yesterday joined the Autism Speaks’ “Light It Up Blue 2013” initiative by switching on its 3,780 LED exterior lights in blue. “We are thrilled to support Autism Speaks and Light It Up Blue campaign for the second consecutive year, to raise public awareness globally and to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders,” hotel manager Sherif Sabry said. “Moreover, we encourage everyone to show concern for individuals and families who deal with the hardships of autism,” he added. The highest building in Qatar supports the World Autism Awareness Day, with digital screens inside and outside the hotel featuring the Torch Doha’s participation in the Autism Speaks’ “Light It Up Blue” campaign and shine a light on autism to raise awareness.
