Doha,March 30: As part of the programme of the Qatar UK Year of Culture, the British Council in Doha will hold a series of four workshops from April 6 to empower women to accomplish their goals.
Called the Springboard Women’s Development Programme, it aims to help women develop their skills and achieve better positions in both their professional and personal lives. Designed by The Springboard Consultancy form the UK, it targets women of all ages and from all backgrounds to build their skills and knowledge to achieve their goals.
The programme consists of five major components such as, aside from the workshops every Saturday from April 6 to April 27, a special workbook packed with practical activities and ideas and guest speakers who will share their success stories in order to become positive role models to attendees. Participants will also acquire support backup and networking with other women.
Winner of several awards for innovation and quality, the Springboard Women’s Development Programme enables women to give more and get more out of their work.
Inspired by the Qatar National Vision for 2030, Qatar UK 2013 aims to forge new partnerships between the UK and Qatar in education, sport, creative industries, and science, while promoting an awareness and appreciation of each other’s culture, achievements, and heritage.
