On the occasion of the National Day of Kuwait, the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor has been decorated with Kuwaiti and Qatari flags. The 29-km long Corridor was inaugurated on 24 February 2021. H.E. Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, & H.E. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Defense of Kuwait, inaugurated Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor this February 24, 2021, coinciding with the celebration of Kuwait’s National Day & Liberation Anniversary.

H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a Tweet conveyed his wishes to H.H. Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait and the brotherly Kuwaiti people on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the National Day and the 30th anniversary of liberation. H.H. also wished Kuwait continued security, safety and progress under the wise leadership of His Highness.
