“KULLUNA” Home Safety Road Show stops in Doha exhibition center this weekend

Qatar’s population has surged 7.5 percent in a year and was more than 1.83 million as on December 31, 2012, the National Office for Statistics said yesterday.

Doha Municipality yesterday announced it conducts supervision and inspection of all food products at the Doha Trade Fair (DTF) 2013, which opened on Tuesday, adding that the procedure will continue for the duration of the exhibition. The municipality said that inspection is being conducted by the Department of Health Control. The Peninsula/QNA

The managers and senior officials of local travel agencies have confirmed that the current season (January to November) has witnessed about 40 percent surge in the volume of reservations, with Dubai being the most preferred destination of citizens followed by Turkey and other European countries.
