H.E. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani held on Sunday evening a telephone conversation with H.E. Prime Minister of the Republic of the Sudan Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, during which he expressed his sincere condolences on the victims of the floods that swept through several regions in Sudan, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Also, H.E. the Prime Minister informed H.E. Dr. Abdalla Hamdok of the directives of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to send urgent relief aid to brotherly Sudan to mitigate the effects of these floods.

For his part, H.E. the Sudanese Prime Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation for this aid and the State of Qatar's permanent standing by Sudan.
