The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on 24 March 2024 that two Qatari Armed Forces aircrafts arrived in Sudan with aid for the Sudanese people.

The aid included speciality pharmaceuticals provided by the Qatar Fund for Development as part of Qatar's relief support to the people of Sudan due to the humanitarian crisis they are undergoing from the continued fighting.

The aid was received by H.E. Federal Minister of Health in the Republic of Sudan, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, H.E. Governor of the Red Sea State of the Republic of Sudan, Mustafa Mohammed Nour, and H.E. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sad.

H.E. Federal Minister of Health in the Republic of Sudan, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, appreciated Qatar's continuous support through the relief efforts.
