H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education and Science and Community Development, attended on Thursday the official opening ceremony of the Education City Golf Club, which coincides with the club's host of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2020 Championship.
During the event, H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser toured the club and visited its various facilities, which as well as being a venue for hosting top-class competitions, aims to encourage people of all ages in Qatar to visit it and enjoy the game of golf.
Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation H.E. Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani also attended the opening ceremony.
Top Golf Stars from around the world have also participated in the opening rounds in the latest edition of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2020, which has moved from its previous home in Doha Golf Club for the first time since its beginning in its 23-year history.
