Check out these images of Jason Statham at Qatar's landmark Museum of Islamic Art which provided the perfect backdrop for the award-winning filmmaker Guy Ritchie’s new film in which he has teamed up with Jason Statham once again. The film is yet to be titled. A portion of the movie has been shot in Doha with filming starting on 14 January, according to Qatar Calendar.
This will be Guy Ritchie and Statham's second movie together for Miramax and their fifth movie together. Aubrey Plaza, well-known for her acting in 'Parks and Recreation', is also part of the star cast. We can't wait to watch this new film!
According to PR Newswire, the film is about MI6 guns-and-steel agent Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) who is recruited by a global intelligence agency to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that threatens to disrupt the world order. Fortune is reluctantly paired with CIA high-tech expert Sarah Fidel (Aubrey Plaza) and sets off on a globe-trotting mission where he will have to use all of his charm, ingenuity and stealth to track down and infiltrate billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds
As per ILQ's sources, Jason Statham has left Qatar and is currently filming in Turkey.
