The English Modern Schools are proud to announce that their Superintendent, Mr Jean Claude Chalouhi, has been appointed as a Commissioner of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The appointment places English Modern Schools in the company of the International School of Helsinki, Zurich International School, and Avenues: The World School, amongst other illustrious educational institutions. As a Commissioner he will oversee the affairs of the Association and become an advocate of educational quality and its ongoing improvement.

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization that partners with over 1500 public, independent, and international schools in the US and worldwide. NEASC assesses, supports, and promotes high-quality education for all students through accreditation, professional assistance, and the pursuit of best practices. Founded in 1885, the Association has a long tradition of school improvement across the globe.

The appointment consolidates the role of Mr JC as a global educational influence and places Qatar in a central role in global education reform and the promotion of the highest international standards in education.
