Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading Islamic Bank, organized a Ramadan Ghabga banquet for its employees and their families. The event took place at the prestigious Ramadan tent at the Four Seasons Doha Hotel, and was attended by Mr. Bassel Gamal, QIB Group CEO, and QIB’s executive management team as well as the Guest of Honor, His Eminence Sheikh Suliaman Al Jubailan. The event, a regular feature of QIB’s calendar, aims to celebrate Ramadan traditions and strengthen relations and understanding of the true spirit of the Holy Month.

Commenting on the occasion of the annual QIB’s Ramadan Ghabga, Mr Bassel Gamal, said:

“We are delighted to have hosted our annual Ramadan Ghabga, which has become a key annual event in our calendar. QIB organized this event as part of its efforts to enhance social and entertainment activities for its employees. I would like to thank all employees and their families for their active participation in the event and their valuable contribution towards making this event a success” he added.

Speaking at the event, Sheikh Sulaiman Al Jubailan stressed on the importance of respecting Islamic values that calls for amity and love and elevates humanity, offering real-life examples from his personal experience.

The evening was well organized with an interactive questions and answers session followed by raffle draw and generous prizes for kids. Senior management officials warmly welcomed the attendees. The event gave the guests a valuable opportunity to network and to socialize while enjoying the great Ramadan atmosphere.
