Qatar Charity launches Ramadan campaign under the slogan of "With Good Reassure"

Qatar Charity (QC) has announced the launch of its Ramadan campaign for the current year under the slogan "With Good Reassure" that it is implementing in Qatar and 30 countries around the world.

The value of its targeted projects is over QR 119 million , and the number of those targeted is expected to reach about 2.4 million people.

Qatar Charity is keen to observe the requirements of public safety and take precautionary measures in view of the current circumstances, whether related to the implementation of its Ramadan projects or donating to them.

From this standpoint, the fasting Iftar meals will be inside and outside Qatar, through the distribution of food baskets and Iftar meals only using cars designated for this purpose. Also, the Qatar e-Charity website and application and their developed services and other various digital tools enable the generous donors to pay their zakat and charity while they are at their homes easily.

The Ramadan campaign includes three main seasonal projects: Iftar of fasting person, "food baskets and meals", the distribution of zakat al-Fitr, and Eid Clothes. It will also include special assistance to face the corona virus inside and outside Qatar.

The Ramadan campaign comes within the framework of the directions and vision of the State of Qatar to support efforts to confront this pandemic, and alleviate the suffering of those affected by it inside and outside the country, in coordination with the relevant government and local authorities. It also includes information programs produced by Qatar Charity and broadcast in cooperation with the Qatari media and on their accounts through Social media networks, in addition to volunteering projects and awareness activities implemented remotely.

On this occasion, Mohammed Rashid Al Kaabi, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of QC Communications Development Sector, praised the support of QC previous Ramadan campaigns and urged support for this current campaign so that Qatar Charity can reach well its targeted Ramadan projects to 2,380,928 beneficiaries inside and outside Qatar, at total cost of QR 119,170,178 .

Al-Kaabi added that Ramadan projects inside Qatar target 420,900 people, at a total cost of QR 34,029,352.

Qatar Charity (QC) will also launch a link to provide assistance requests to facilitate those in need and provide food baskets in cooperation with Al Meera Consumer Goods Company, and it will be announced on various social media to facilitate the request for assistance from various groups of society.

For his part, Faisal Rashid Al-Fahaideh, Assistant Chief Executive for International Operations and Partnerships, said that, through its field offices and local partners, Qatar Charity (QC) will implement three Ramadan projects in about 30 countries around the world, namely Iftar , distributing zakat al-Fitr, and Eid clothes.

It will distribute relief food aid in areas of disasters and crises, which will be of help to the displaced and refugees, and special aid to help alleviate the suffering of those affected by the corona pandemic, he noted.
