Project qatar successfully concludes more than 18000 visitors

Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Project Qatar has successfully concluded its 19th edition, welcoming more than 18,000 visitors over its four days. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and in partnership with the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The ninth edition of the leading Q GREEN conference was held on the sidelines of the exhibition on its final day, which provided important opportunities for networking, building relationships, and exchanging knowledge in the sector, bringing together experts from diverse fields and industries to discuss and share innovative best practices to support sustainable development.

Haidar Mushaimesh, General Manager of International Exhibitions Company – Qatar, said: "We are proud of the resounding success and achievements of Project Qatar. The high turnout and positive response from exhibitors reflect the important position of the show as an ideal platform to showcase the latest ideas, forge partnerships and promote sustainable growth of the sector. This year, Project Qatar continued its pioneering journey of excellence and strengthened its strong position in the infrastructure, construction and construction sectors, paved the way for more fruitful partnerships and served as a supportive platform for the launch of many innovative initiatives."

The final day of the conference featured a session on "Qatar's Efforts in the Fields of Sustainability and Supporting Climate Action" and "Environmental Achievements of the 2022 FIFA World Cup". On its last day, the exhibition also hosted a number of panel discussions that touched on a variety of topics, namely "Green Investment in Waste Management: A Driver for Economic Development"; "Recycling and Converting All World Cup Waste into Energy"; "Green Homes: A Guide to Greener and Healthier Homes"; "Building Retrofitting Using an Energy Performance Based Building Model", "Achieving Climate-Neutral Buildings Based on Radiant Cooling Systems"; and "Integrated Facilities Management Methodology". and sustainable." A workshop titled 'Enabling the Future of the Built Environment Sustainably' was also held, highlighting the latest global trends in energy efficiency and green construction.

The exhibition allowed local and international exhibitors to showcase their innovative products, services, and technologies and provided industry leaders with a space to network, interact and explore business opportunities with the participation of more than 325 companies. This year's edition of the exhibition attracted a large number of visitors and was well received by exhibitors and attendees alike, as participants praised the high levels of professionalism, organization, and interaction in the various events of the exhibition, which fostered valuable dialogues, prompted cooperation in the sector and fostered its growth and expansion.

The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' provided all means of support and sponsorship to Project Qatar as a strategic partner, Qatar Tourism participated as a sponsor of trade delegations, Qatar Chamber as a partner of the business community, Qatari Diar as a real estate development sponsor, Qatar Development Bank as an official partner, Free Zones Authority as a sponsor of free zones, Suhail Industrial Holding Group as an industrial sponsor, Al Sorayai Holding Group as a platinum sponsor, and Media. The 20th edition of Project Qatar will be held next year from 27 to 30 May 2024.
