The Schools Olympic Day, an initiative by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has inspired young girls to participate in sport. QOC has a thriving sports development programme. Currently, thousands of young girls compete in the Schools Olympic Day programme.
