The second phase of registration for the housing and commercial units in Barwa Village under construction in Wakra will begin today.
Preference has been given to residents of the Mohamed bin Jassim — Mushaireb area, in allotment of the properties. The area is being redeveloped as part of the Heart of Doha project
The second phase of registration is open to all those residing in the Mohamed bin Jassim — Mushaireb area, while the first phase was exclusively dedicated to shops and residents from areas covered by phase one of the Heart of Doha project.
“Anyone from Mohammed bin Jassim — Mushaireb area can now apply for a house or shop in Barwa Village. The registration will continue until July 29,” Barwa sources said yesterday.
The sources added that once the second phase is completed, registration will be declared open to people from other areas of the country. “The project has triggered large scale interest among people across the country. A number of them from areas outside Mushaireb have also shown interest in applying. They will have a chance to apply in the next phase of registration, which will begin early next month,” said the sources.
Registration takes place at Barwa’s Client Services Center located Al Owaina Building (8th Floor), behind Qatar National Museum from Sunday to Thursday (9am to 1pm and
4pm to 8pm). A call centre service is also available seven days of the week at 4595599.
