A new family-friendly attraction that recently opened in Qatar is Legtaifiya Beach. Known as Qatar's first-night beach, it is open from the afternoon until midnight. The area also has several large inflatable play areas for the little ones to enjoy.

The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team visited Legtaifiya Beach and is here to tell you all you need to know for your visit.

Qatar's first-night beach

At Legtaifiya Beach, you and your loved ones can enjoy city views and beach fun without the scorching heat as it opens at 3 pm and closes at 12 am.

There are several beach chairs available for you to relax and rest. Alternatively, you may also bring your own chairs, tables, picnic blankets, and more.

Bringing of food is permitted, however, please be mindful of your trash and dispose accordingly.

There are toilet facilities available, but it is important to note that there are no showers.

Inflatable play areas

Several inflatable play areas are available for the little ones to enjoy. Each play area has certain themes to explore and games.

There are also larger inflatable slides and courses that are adult-friendly, too!

Tickets for the inflatable area are priced at QR 50 for unlimited play.

The kids will also enjoy the trampoline ride, where little ones can bounce to their heart's content. The trampoline ride is at QR 30 and is for kids only.

How to get to Legtaifiya Beach?

Legtaifiya Beach is within walking distance from the Legtaifiya Metro Station on the Doha Metro Red Line. Visitors can alight from the station and walk past District ONE to reach the beach area.
