Mondrian Doha’s Celebrity Chefs to Participate at Qatar International Food Festival with Exclusive Offerings

Celebrity Chef’s, Wolfgang Puck and Masaharu Morimoto announced their participation, in partnership with Visit Qatar at Qatar International Food Festival 2018, an exclusive culinary celebration featuring local talent and contribution from top hotels, restaurants, eateries and food entrepreneurs based in Doha.

Held between March 15th and 25th, 2018, the Qatar International food festival will take place at Hotel Park Doha,and will open from 4pm to 11pm on weekdays and from 4pm to 1am on weekends. Mondrian Doha will be represented this year by world renowned chefs, Wolfgang Puck and Masaharu Morimoto.

On Thursday March 15th, 2018, Chef Wolfgang Puck will host a live cooking demonstration at 7:20pm at the Live Cooking Theatre located at the central stage of the festival; where he will master the creation of some of his all-time famous dishes, Seafood Risotto and Chinois Lamb.

On Friday March 16th, 2018, at 8pm, Mondrian Doha’s CUT by Wolfgang Puck restaurant, will host a Chef’s table demonstration prepared exclusively by chef Wolfgang personally, for QR950 per person inclusive of an eight course menu. Some of Puck’s celebrated dishes will be served including Oscetra Caviar with Foie Gras Mousse, Slow Cooked Duck Breast and Ricotta ‘KaiserSchmarn’. Wolfgang Puck will also join diners throughout the evening’s courses.

Simultaneously, Chef Masaharu Morimoto will host a live cooking demonstration on Friday March 16th, 2018, at 6:05pm, at Qatar International Food Festival at the Live Cooking Theatre on center stage where he will carve a 100kg Tuna live in front of the audience.

A special Morimoto Sushi Masterclass will be held at Mondrian Doha’s Morimoto Restaurant on Saturday, 17th March from 12pm to 4pm, starting from QR650 per person, inclusive of a 4 course lunch and a personal photo opportunity with chef Morimoto, or with an additional QR175 for a signed copy of his world famous cookbook.
