MOCI closes restaurant for violation of COVID-19 precautionary measures

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has closed a restaurant for violating precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as announced in a post in its social media account.

Sukar Pasha restaurant in Katara Cultural Village violated the Ministry’s circular by preventing requests to be submitted in all restaurants and cafes in the country and preventing the presence and sitting of customers as precautionary measures to counter the Coronavirus, mentioned in its tweet.

The restaurant is closed for a period of 15 days.
