Did you know that this week saw 2 deaths due to COVID-19 in total and the maximum recoveries in a day were 281, while 168 was the least number of newly infected cases recorded on 1 December? We are in the second part of Phase 4 of the lifting of the coronavirus restrictions in Qatar and here are the latest updated weekly trends in terms of recoveries, new cases and deaths related to the current situation.
From 215 new confirmed cases reported on 26 November, the numbers decreased to 184 the next day, after which it increased to 227 on 28 November. The next day, 29 November, saw 171 new cases, followed by 185 and 168 on the next two consecutive days, before increasing to 255 on 2 December and 221 on 3 December, towards the end of the week.
From 248 recoveries from the coronavirus (COVID-19) on 26 November, the numbers saw a decrease on the next day at 172, following which it saw a sharp spike to 281, before decreasing to 211 on 29 November. The number of recoveries then saw a spike at 228 recoveries recorded on 30 November and stood at 216 and 207 on the next two consecutive days, before increasing to 228 on 3 December on Thursday.
This week saw 2 deaths in total and were recorded on 1 and 2 December respectively.
