Starting from 16 May 2021, parents can register their children who are aged between 12 and 15 for the COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar. Once registered on the Ministry of Public Health website, parents will be contacted by the Primary Health Care Corporation via SMS with an appointment date and time to get their child's first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. Children aged from 12 to 15 years are to be offered the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar.
***Your selected health centre and date for vaccination is not guaranteed unless you have received a confirmation notification on your appointment booking.
Please note: According to the MoPH, "there are certain situations in which precaution should be taken before taking the vaccine. In these cases, you should discuss with your healthcare provider to understand if and when you should take the vaccine."
