[UPDATED] MoPH updates list of low-risk countries effective 1 October

[UPDATED] We have noticed the 47 low risk country announcement from MOPH has been removed. Therefore, the list REMAINS AS 41 COUNTRIES AS SEPTMBER'S LIST.

As Qatar continues with the mandatory quarantine for all travellers returning to Qatar as announced by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management in its latest statement Thursday night, the Ministry of Public Health has also announced the latest list of low-risk countries.

The changes came into effect on October 1, the MoPH said on its website. The list of low-risk countries has been updated based on public health indicators in Qatar and around the world. The list is subject to change at the discretion of the Ministry of Public Health.

The updated list includes 47 low-risk countries:

  • Finland
  • Latvia
  • Estonia
  • Norway
  • Italy
  • Lithuania
  • Greece
  • Slovakia
  • Ireland
  • Germany
  • Slovenia
  • Denmark
  • Cyprus
  • United Kingdom
  • Poland
  • Austria
  • Netherlands
  • Iceland
  • France
  • Croatia
  • Switzerland
  • Belgium
  • Portugal
  • Bulgaria
  • Sweden
  • Malta
  • Romania
  • Russia.

Asia:

  • Brunei Darussalam
  • Thailand
