In a video posted by the Ministry of Justice on Twitter, the ministry clarified Article 4 and Article 33 of Law No. 10 of 2021 regarding measures to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The ministry mentions in the video tweeted that Article 4 of Law No. 10 of 2021 states the conditions for entry and exit for those coming to Qatar. As per the ministry, the law says that everyone has the right to enter Qatar to attend the World Cup. However, the State of Qatar has the right to refuse entry to anyone for security or health reasons.

Aside from this, the ministry also mentions that the validity of the given visas to guests will expire at the end of the competition period. However, only in cases of necessity, individuals may request an extension of their visa.

The ministry also clarifies Article 33 which mentions public mobility during the competition period. Individuals may use free public transportation to and from the stadiums by either the metro or buses during the competition period.
