After an eventful first half of goal attempts ruled offside, free kicks, and fouls by both teams, Argentina's captain Lionel Messi scores a much-awaited goal in the 64th minute after receiving a pass from teammate Angel Di Maria.
Securing the win for Argentina is Enzo Fernandez in the 87th minute with a goal, taking the score to 2-0 at full-time. This is Fernandez's first World Cup goal.
