As per an update on X by Doha Metro & Lusail Tram, metrolink and metroexpress service updates were announced during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.

The updates are as follows:

• M202 and M203 will operate from Qatar National Library Station, shelter 1 (instead of Education City station) during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.
• Sport City metroexpress will operate from Al Waab QLM, shelter 2 during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.
