A report by The Peninsula on 15 August 2023, mentioned that the Secretary-General of the National Committee for hosting Expo 2023 Doha, Mohammed Ali Al Khouri said in an interview with Al Rayyan TV that the Hayya Card has been activated through the app for visitors to attend the Expo 2023 Doha.

The report also mentioned that, as per the official, many conditions will be implemented in activating the Hayya Card. The details will be announced soon and must be reviewed before visiting Qatar.

The Expo 2023 Doha is all set to take place from 2 October 2023 to 28 March 2024 at Al Bidda Park.
