Qatar Rail announced on 11 February 2024 that the Doha Metro has transported 6.2 million passengers during the Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar.

The highest ridership was witnessed on the day of the final on 10 February 2024, with 295,900 passengers.

It was also announced that a footfall of over 115,000 passengers was recorded at the Lusail QNB metro station on the day of the final, and there was a total of 83,358 train trips during the tournament.
