Love playing or watching football? The Qatar Football Association is preparing to host the Group E fixtures, which will see five teams in action – Qatar, Oman, India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh – in Doha, with all the games being played at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Sports Club.

On Monday, 7 June 2021, Bangladesh versus India match will take place at 05:00 pm followed by Qatar versus Oman at 08:10 pm. On Friday, 11 June 2021, Afghanistan will play against Oman at 08:10 pm.

Who will be allowed into the stadium?

  • You need to be above 12 years and above to buy tickets.
  • Individuals who are fully vaccinated, provided that the last date for the 2nd dose was 20 May 2021. The fan should have been vaccinated within the last nine months (after 3 September 2020).
  • Individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 9 months from (3 September 2020 to 20 May 2021), and with the last day of recovery being 14 days before the match date will be allowed.

'Painter, polymath, provocateur: Rediscovering MF Husain through his final artwork' is an upcoming event that Qatar Foundation is hosting in partnership with SCALE magazine. This event will feature the premiere of Seeroo fi al ardh, a short documentary that shares the story of how Maqbool Fida Husain’s life and work came to intersect in his final art installation. The documentary viewing will be followed by a panel discussion featuring: Layla Bacha, Senior Art Specialist, Qatar Foundation; Mustafa Husain, Filmmaker, Cinematographer, and M.F. Husain’s son; Bose Krishnamachari, Artist, Curator, and President of Kochi Biennale Foundation and Dimitri Yuri, Award-winning Director at The Film House. The panel discussion will be moderated by Ranjit Hoskote, a Poet, Art Critic, Cultural Theorist, and Independent Curator.
