Are you a fan of art? “People and Things,” an exclusive online exhibition of work by Sudanese Artist, Abushariaa Ahmed. He is known for his distinctive ink drawings, patterned symbols of his Nubian culture, and occasional Arabic calligraphy, Ahmed is influenced by Khartoum School, a modernist movement formed in Sudan in 1960 that sought to develop a vocabulary to reflect the distinctive identity of his country.
The Qatar National Library announced that from 30 May 2021, the library will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and will be closed on weekends. Visits are currently by appointment only, with safety measures in place.
