“People and Things,” an exclusive online exhibition of work by Sudanese Artist, Abushariaa Ahmed. Known for his his distinctive ink drawings, rich with ornamental and patterned symbols of his Nubian culture and occasional Arabic calligraphy, Ahmed is influenced by Khartoum School, a modernist movement formed in Sudan in 1960 that sought to develop a vocabulary to reflect the distinctive identity of his country.
