India faced off Uzbekistan in a Group B match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on 18 January 2024. The match kicked off at 5:30 pm.
Uzbekistan's Abbosbek Fayzullayev scored an early goal in the 4th minute, assisted by Otabek Shukurov, taking the lead to 1-0.
This is followed by another goal from Uzbekistan's Igor Sergeyev in the 18th minute, furthering the lead to 2-0.
Sherzod Nasrullayev from Uzbekistan scores the last goal of the first half in the 45+4th minute, taking the score to 3-0 by halftime.
The second half witnessed no goals, which brought the full-time score to 3-0 in favour of Uzbekistan.
