H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated on Tuesday morning in the activities of the National Sport Day.
The Amir practiced walking in Al Bayt Stadium Park's walkway with a number of primary school students to raise awareness of the importance of sport and encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyles and take care of physical fitness.
Al Bayt Stadium which will host the opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has sports facilities, tracks for running and cycling, and horse riding track.
