Stallions Cricket Academy from Qatar to Tour Sri Lanka in August

After a very successful tour of England in 2014, Qatar’s leading cricket academy, Stallions CA is all set to embark on its second international cricket tour to Sri Lanka on 07th August 2015. The tour is scheduled to be for 10 days from 07 August 2015 to 17th August 2015 during which time they intend to play more than 20 games and a tournament against quality opponents from Sri Lankan Schools, clubs and academies.

The tour party consist more than 100 participants that includes 50 players who are playing in the age groups of U10, U12, U14 and U16. The teams are managed by qualified Stallions senior coaches – Manoj Arthanat, Ashan Perera, Chris Yue, Sachin Kanvinde, Shivani Mishra and head coach Sidath Tennakoon during the tour. The talented youngsters from Qatar who have won the Qatar’s Inter Academy U14 tournament in 2015 will be given a tough test in Sri Lanka which would help them immensely to enhance their skills. The players will get the opportunity to play in top international grounds such as Dambulla International Stadium, Asgiriya International Stadium and many other quality grass grounds. All matches will be officiated by the qualified umpires from the professional cricket umpires association of Sri Lanka.

The tour will start in Colombo with a coaching session under the guidance of some of the top coaches from Sri Lanka who have represented the Sri Lankan national team. Stallions will play matches in Colombo, Kandy and Dambulla. The last day of the tour will be marked with a grand Awards Ceremony to acknowledge the top performance during the tour.
