The BARWA Group in association with Qatar National Day Celebrations Associated Activities Organizing Committee will be organizing ‘Qatar National Day Barwa Sports Championship’ at BARWA Workers Recreation Complex in Al Khor Industrial Area for the communities and companies in Qatar.
The competitions of the championship will be in Cricket, Soccer (Football), Volleyball, Basketball & Tug of War and will be held every Friday evening until 16/12/2016 and semifinal and final will be held on 17-18/12/2016. The Tug of war competition will be held on evening of Sunday, 18/12/2016.
The winners & Runners of Cricket and Soccer will be awarded QR 5000 & QR 3000 respectively, while the Winners & Runners of Volleyball & Basketball Will be awarded QR 3000 & QR 2000 respectively.
In addition to this, the winner and runner of tug of war competition will be awarded QR 1500 and QR 1000 respectively. In Cricket and Soccer, 32 teams will only be accommodated and in Volleyball & Basketball only 16 teams can register.
